Sightings for Friday March 28th

Gaspé
Rivière-au-Renard:
Killdeer (Pluvier kildir), 2 Red-throated loons (Plongeons catmarins), 1 Northern gannet (Fou de Bassan)
Cap-des-Rosiers:
500 Common eiders (Eiders à duvet), 2 King eiders (M+F) (Eider à tête grise) - Diane Jalbert - Site COG : http://www.cogaspesie.org/

Saint-Blaise, 1st rue near 53 ave - 4 Mute swans (Cygnes tuberculés) 1ère Rue, près de la 53ième Avenue - Marcel Gauthier

Verdun: Just returned from the river and the Canvasbacks (Fuligules à dos blanc), were still there. They arefeeding with Common Goldeneyes (Garrots à oeil d'or) (100+ in the area), Greater Scaup (Fuligules milouinans), and a few Common Mergansers (Grands harles) directly behind the Natatorium. Also seen were 2 Gadwall (Canards chipeaux), foraging on the edge of the ice shelf.
