Sightings for Friday April 25th

Montreal, St. Ambroise street: I have the lovely opportunity of watching a pair of American kestrels (Crécerelle d'Amérique) eating (pulling apart mice!). They perch on a dead branch all morning and sporadically during the afternoon (one or both of them). I remember watching them as far back as 3 -maybe 4 years ago, and I am always happy to see them for the first time in the spring (they came back two weeks ago) - Shane

Pointe-Lebel, Baie henri-Grenier: Short-eared owl (Hibou des marais) - Daniel Dorais
