Bird Protection Quebec's Field Trip Report - Sunday May 29th

Chateauguay, Île St-Bernard refuge faunique Marguerite d'Youville 73 species

9 birders ventured out to Île St-Bernard this morning. We lucked out in the rain department as it only drizzled for a couple of minutes when we first started, and then held off untill we had finished. It was foggy on Lac St-Louis so not much could be seen there.

Bird of the day was a Black-billed cuckoo. A close second were 2 male Rose-breasted grosbeaks that landed beside us looking like they wanted to be fed.
