Sightings for Sunday September 25th

Philipsburg: A small excursion to the refuge George H. Montgomery in St-Armand this morning, six people from COBM with me. Few species (36), none were warblers but we were treated to a rare bird, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo, a beautiful sighting. We also heard a bird, 2 times briefly, and checking at home; I came think it was probably a Red-headed Woodpecker.

Other interesting species: Northern Harrier, Red-tailed Hawk, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Raven, Kingfisher, Wood Thrush, Hermit Thrush, Greater yellowlegs, Gray Catbird, Tufted Titmouse, Eastern Phoebe, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
