Sightings for Thursday March 22

Montréal: I was at Mount Royal Cemetery this morning, with Herb Greenslade. Bird activity was good, with Song Sparrows, Robins and Juncos present in good numbers. Interesting sightings included a flock of Evening Grosbeaks flying overhead and an early Chipping Sparrow. The nesting Cooper's Hawks were very active and we were able to observe mating. A pair of Red-shouldered Hawks was also seen briefly in the same area.
