Sightings for Sunday October 19

Hudson: A large flock of approximately 400 Black Scoters (macreuse noire) made a brief appearance off Jack Layton Park this morning and after rising and settling several times headed en masse east along the Ottawa River. Where to? Farther east on Lake of Two Mountains? Lac St Louis? - Wayne Grubert

La Prairie; At the corner of Marie-Victorin and Leon Bloy-O, on the river, there were 10 Long-tailed Ducks, 5 Black scoter amongst a raft of 200+ Scaup.
