Fall Warbler Walk Report, Wednesday September 2

BPQ's Fall Warbler Walk at l'île de la Visitation this morning was the best so far this fall, for warblers.

The group of 25 people, who came to this outing (even some from England & France), were delighted & witnessed the first major 'Warbler Attack' ( a group of birds passing by us, containing many species of warblers & other species) of the fall season in the park. A total of 12 species of warblers were among the 48 species seen this morning in the park (we fell short of a 10/50 mark. Seeing more than 10 warbler species and 50 bird species in fall in this park).

You are welcome to join me again next Wednesday morning. - Joel Coutu
