Bird Protection Quebec "Field Trip Report" Saturday March 26

10 birders participated in yesterday morning's field trip to Parc de la Frayere in South Shore Boucherville. While the weather was fine, the condition of the trails was very difficult due to the remaining ice from snow, ice and rain from earlier in the week, making walking tricky in many spots.

There were still signs and sounds of spring throughout the park. We completed the morning with 25 species, as well as a great look at a fox along the road just outside the park. Here is our list of species for the day. - Sheldon Harvey
